Friday Favorites
My musical memory was recently jogged because I lost the cord that I need to play music from my phone in my car. I’m currently relying on CD’s and I considered this a major disappointment until I found James Taylor’s Greatest Hits in my center console. This song will always be one of my favorites.
I’m fairly certain I’ve shared this one before but if you didn’t watch it then, watch it now. If you did watch it then, watch it again. This poem seems to ebb and flow, constantly growing and speaking to me in new ways each and every time.
My favorite line this time: “And know this: know you are the type of woman who is searching for a place to call yours. Let the statues crumble. You have always been the place.”
