turning twelve

I almost still cannot believe we're well into the 1st week of December already! The twelfth month of the year has really swept in fast for us and ordinarily I'm feeling a bit more excited about it all but we've had a couple personal "life happenings" that have caused some yuck to our yum. We're working through these times though and have got our eyes focused on higher ground... um, except when looking down during a recent walk with Tayeh and spying a teeny Santa sticker waving to me from the pavement! A sign perhaps?! Not sure but in any case it was way too jolly not to capture with a snapshot.

Some other recents include a minor start to decking the halls. Sean pulled out the Xmas lights and worked his magic around our front door. Such a cheery glow on these especially dark nights!! Loading up on copious amounts of delicious, cinnamon infused coffee in the mornings and comforting tomato bisque soup as a lighter dinner option has soothed my tummy tension. Going on a bunch of wintertime walks is a savior to the mind melts too. Anyone have their own special way to decompress when the unexpected "out of sorts" hit? ♥
