I was searching for new makeup babies the other day on my Walgreens and like I’m always the first in line for good deals, I saw that some of the Centerstage collection by Fergie for Wet n’ Wild were on sale. So, I chose an eyeshadow palette, a gel liner and a lipstick and put everything on my basket (with some other items, OK, I confess…).
Desert Festival Palette
There were 4 different palettes in the Centerstage collection, most of them were on blue shades or brown, but I immediately were intrigued by the Desert Festival palette, more in the orange/beige shades and that looked amazing !
When I saw it I already know that I’ll love it ! And after trying it, it really was the case ! I really truly love this palette !!
The five colors are incredible, really gorgeous and well pigmented. I appreciate that there are two types of textures in this palette : mate and shimmer (so you can easily mix it up in a make up or simply choose to use just the matte or just the shimmer).
Sometimes I don’t use every eyeshadow in a palette, but this time, the five colors are so easy to deal with that I don’t let a color apart ! I’m enchanted with this desert festival palette and I don’t regret choosing this one !
I like creme eyeliner, so this one came naturally on my basket ! This eyeliner is really good. Creme eyeliners are really easy to use : the application is easier than with a liquid one especially if you are a novice with eyeliners.
The creme texture is very soft and glide with ease on the lid and, cherry on the cake, it is waterproof so it don’t move and stay in place all day/night long ! It comes with a brush that is not too bad, but maybe a little bit too big. The color is very black that is perfect for every girl but if you like your eyeliner brown, there is one also !
Perfect Pout Lip Color – Old school glam
I heard a lot about these lipsticks before buying this one, that the texture was a dream and didn’t dry the lips, so I was waiting for a real lipstick bomb and unfortunately I am not so enthusiast than everybody.
Sure the color is beautiful but I found it too dry for my lips, so I have to put a lipbalm before applying it to have a smooth finish.
I also don’t like the packaging because the lipstick doesn’t retract completely so you have to be very careful when you open and close the cap… and I don’t like to have damaged lipstick ! I’m sort of OCD with my makeup so…
Finally I’m not totally satisfied of this product even if I really like the color on my lips. The mate finish is really too dry on my lips for me to be confortable with it…
