Chasing Harry Winston – Lauren Weisberger

I’m a real bookworm ! That’s a fact even if I don’t review every books I read here, reading is one of my favorite leisure ! I read a lot of different kind of books but I really like chick-lit particularly (like a lot of girls actually) ! This type of literature is easy and diverting, so it’s just perfect to give our brain a rest !

That is the story of three friends : Adriana (the beautiful Brazilian), Leigh (the intellectual) and Emmy (the foody) searching for another path in life and love. Adriana is the kind of girl that sleeps with a lot of men without never choosing one; Leigh has a great career and a beautiful boyfriend but is not in love with him and Emmy is dumped when his boyfriend finally choose another girl.

One night, they made a pact about changing their life ! Adriana have to find a lover that lasts more than one night; Leigh doesn’t seem to need any change until she’ll discover she needs some and Emmy has to be less marriage-oriented by having romantic adventures with more different men in the foreign countries she’ll visit.

The book isn’t marvelous, but it is distracting. Some of the situations are predictable but the book stays nice and easy to read for a good moment.
