Postcard: au bord de la mer

Au bord de la mer, somewhere along the coast in the Pays de la Loire, France. We brought sandwiches and water, the beer conveniently forgotten at the house. We tried to walk along the beach but the rocks cut up our feet. I took pictures of these two women beside us, one topless the other not. They were so familiar to the scene they almost became part of the horizon. We tanned and played in the water and then it was time to go back to where we’d first met.
