PHOTO DIARY: BOM DIA BELÉM

A trip to Lisbon wouldn't be complete without a Belém pit stop. A bus from the center should take you all the way to Belém. Situated southwestest of Lisbon, the historical area was where all the most significant expeditions started. Celebrated Portuguese explorers such as Prince Henry the Navigator, Bartholomeu Dias, Ferdinand Magellan and Vasco da Gama embarked on their respective voyages of discovery from this old town.
Both the Tower of Belém and the Jeronimos Monastery shouldn't be missed during your visit. The breathtakingly beautiful gothic architecture of both buildings is perfect for shameless #selfies and #ootds. Make sure to dress appropriately. Otherwise, your entry might get denied. My handy big black silk scarf from Damir Doma was my savior that day. Wrapped it around my frame before entering the sites. An obligatory stop at the world famous Pastéis de Belém is a must for any foodie. I highly recommend ordering their best-selling freshly baked egg custards paired with a hot cup of coffee. It was so good that I had to ditch my diet and do a second round! But believe me it was all worth it. Without a doubt, their egg custards are the best in the entire universe!
Ended the afternoon with a relaxing stroll along the marina with my boyfie. Then, we headed back straight to our apartment. Picked up our luggages and took the next train to Porto for our next adventure!
