Aussie Road Trip - Part 10 - Bingara Cemetery

Bingara Cemetery
Before heading home to Brisbane, we paid a visit to the cemetery.
This is the old section of the graveyard. It had so much patina and visiting was one of the highlights of the whole trip.
A quiet and peaceful place, with rust and plenty of history.

Two of the family graves we visited.

Sweet Lily placing flowers on a random grave.

Surroundings

So much history. The oldest grave from 1852. So much time has passed.
Many graves without names or headstones. Sun faded silk flowers from a bygone era.
A weathered cemetery with lots to tell. - if you take the time to listen.
A place for contemplation.
