Friday Lingerie Lust: LoveStories Intimates

June sees a welcome return to the things I love to blog about and probably know best – lingerie. I put a temporary ‘pause’ on all things intimate last month to have some adventures finding new brands and designers to bring you as well as the latest collections from all my old favourites. I hope you won’t be disappointed, so please read on and return each Friday for a glance, whether you are interested in lingerie as a gift to self, or as a gift to another.

LoveStories Intimates - a Dutch brand with an eye for unique, individual pieces that can be mixed and matched – steers away from traditional lingerie fabrics in favour of mixed prints and differing textures: smooth velvet, sequins, luxurious lace, intricate jacquard, lurex and rich silk. Two main themes dominate the current collection: ‘The Undercovers‘ - soft triangle bralettes and delicate slips; and ‘The Cover-Ups‘ - pajama’s and boxer shorts, oversized velvet shirts, well-fit bodysuits, dainty dresses, quirky socks and fun eye-masks.

My favourite pieces from the collection have an ‘underwear becomes outerwear’ lean. The sheer spotted bodysuits and the rich velvety camisoles. There is much to love in the latest campaign, shot in a country estate amidst quirky antiques and relics from hunting trips in and around the manor.

A boutique will open in Amsterdam’s ’9 Streets’ shopping district this summer. In the meantime stay tuned to the LoveStories website to be the first in line to purchase.
