Help Wanted! LBQ Needs An Intern.

Yes really, it's got to that point... I've been running the site for over four years and it's become somewhat of a beast, evolving to become my full time job completely unexpectedly in 2013. Simultaneously I work with a lot of beauty brands and companies on a consultancy basis, doing everything from strategising and advising new brands, to supporting and running channels for more established ones. I also produce a lot of trend reports and insight into the state of the beauty industry and how consumers are reacting to innovations, working with some huge brands to shape the way they do business. Suffice to say I'm a little bit busy - and it's not slowing down any time soon. If you're a marketing or PR student that wants to make the most of your summer, or simply a blogger who wants to get into the strategic side of things, then do you fancy being my intern?

I work from home in Buckinghamshire 2-3 days per week, with 2-3 days spent in London attending meetings with brands and clients. The role would predominately be remote (i.e. from the comfort of your bedroom with you in your PJs,) but I would expect a weekly face-to-face meeting, which we could tie into attendance of events or client activity I'm working on. The role would include supporting me with research and admin tasks, as well as coming up with ideas and providing me with industry insight. It's not full time, but we could make it work for the ideal candidate in whichever way we like - whether or not it's a designated day, three afternoons or flexible working!

It would be unpaid, but I have plenty of fancy makeup to make up for it (excuse the pun) and an everflowing supply of Starbucks. I'd be looking for someone to start ASAP, i.e. next week, and be with me at least into September - if you're going back to University then we may even be able to arrange something ongoing. You'd need to be over 18 (just for legality and shizzle) and live close enough to London to pop in every week with me. Think this sounds like something you'd like? Send me a CV and an introductory email explaining why you'd love to work with LBQ and what you could bring to the party: [email protected] Look forward to hearing from you!

Closing date for applications 9th August, so get in quick!
