Sunday Morning Rain Is Falling, Steal Some Covers, Share Some Skin…

Bikini’s, straw hats and new sunglasses have me wishing, hoping, thinking and praying for a little sunshine here in Washington, DC.

As I type this post, there is some sort of snowy rain slush falling from the gray skies, not exactly the best weather to run outside and take outfit pictures in for a fun springtime look. So what’s a blogger to do when outfits just aren’t an option for a Monday post? Well, early today I went to our quarterly Southern Blog Society Meet Up here in DC, and while chatting with other bloggers who were all having the same issues with pictures and the rain, we decided indoor pictures were the only way to go. So I came home, grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots of things around my apartment to share with y’all a little bit of what it’s like over at PLIG headquarters.

I live with a boy, therefore my home is void of any lucite furniture, pink accent pillows or a styled bar cart, as it should be! This is what you can find on my boyfriends nighstand. Yes, that is a lamp of a dog smoking a cigar. I’m one lucky lady!

A few of my favorite new beauty products and accessories include Revlon “Rendezvous”, drugstore mascara, a fresh new scent and a delicate DC charm necklace.
