It’s a soft purple that makes me think of Easter, and the silver brings to mind little droplets of rain that you see on the windowpane, as you gaze outside on a spring evening.
(I really love doing that! The sound of rain is so relaxing, haha, unless you have to go to the washroom!)
This shade is just the manicure I needed to brighten my spirits because 2014 has been challenging so far on several personal levels.

Fresh like spring and as lively as dewdrops rolling off leaves, Hudson by Zoya is really pretty! It adds that soft pop of colour to waken up a manicure without being too bright. For this reason, I think that even those who tend to shy away from loud colours will warm up to this one.
Not only is it seasonally appropriate, but it has a lot of feminine charm – graceful is how I would describe it!
Hudson by Zoya has fine silver shimmer running throughout, and it’s very dense, so it’s very noticeable.
From a distance, it appears to have a sheen, but if you inspect your nails up close, you can see the small, individual pieces of shimmer.
This polish went on smoothly, and the formula was on the thin side, but that didn’t affect pigmentation. I found that I only needed 2 coats to get full coverage. (I tend to use medium coats, but because it’s so pigmented, I think even with thin coats, you’d get the same opacity.)
I would highly recommend Zoya Hudson, if you’re looking for a spring shade that’s girly without being pink. It has just the right saturation of colour without being too wild and crazy. That’s why I think it’ll appeal to a lot of people of all different ages.
Have you tried Zoya Hudson? When you think of the perfect spring shade in your mind, what does it look like? What was the most recent Zoya nail polish you wore?
