CND VINYLUX Pretty Poison Manicure

I’ve written about CND Vinylux in the past, but I’ve only recently tried out the lacquer gifted to me after the September CND Vinylux launch event in Montreal.

The Vinylux formula is the happy medium between regular nail polish and gel nail polish (such as the CND Shellac). To know more about that, check out my previous post about it here.

Focusing on colour, CND Vinylux Pretty Poison is just that. A beautiful deep forest green with green and golden shimmer. The name reminds me of a Disney villain or something of the sort, perhaps a wicked witch.

As labelled on the bottle, the lacquer lasts for approximately 7 days – if you can resist tolerating the regrowth at the base of the nail. Unfortunately, I don’t think I sealed my ends as well as the professional manicurist I met at the Vinylux event last fall. My nails lasted about 6 days before I chipped them.

If you opt for this CND formula, you need to top it off with their weekly top coat. It’s the secret to a long lasting manicure because this top coat uses solar light to strengthen and bind the polish to your nails.

Have you tried CND Vinylux before?

xx
