MUFE HD Cream Blush Application & Review

A few weeks ago, I attended a gathering revolving the release of the HD Cream Blush at the Sephora in downtown Montreal. I did a pretty extensive post about product claims and what makes these blushes unique.

Now that I have tested these out for a few weeks, I have formulated an opinion about them. If I’ve gone out of my way to make a video about how to apply these beauties, well I reckon it is pretty clear that I’m into these blushes!

Having oily skin has made working with cream blushes a bit of a nightmare in the past. I would avoid wearing them even though I always loved the way they wore on the skin, initially. After several hours of wear, many cream blushes tend to separate and become patchy, lose pigmentation, slide down the face and a whole lot of other things. Fear not, if you have oily skin, these do not make you look any more oily than you already are (at least on me, they don’t).

HD Cream Blush 410 & 420

410 Coral and 420 Indian Rosewood

Artisan Collection 148 Blending Blush Brush

To apply the HD Cream Blush, I use the 148 Blending Blush Brush from the MUFE Artisan Collection (post here). It is a small, flared multipurpose brush for precise application and blending.

According to the description on Sephora’s website, the 148 brush can be used with creams as well as loose, compact, pearly, and iridescent powders to provide light to moderate coverage. However, I think it best fits cream products because of its duo fiber nature, the longer bristles are spaced out for easier blending of opaque products.

How to apply hd cream blush to flatter your face shape

I did a MUFE HD Cream Blush demonstration in the video below. I used the Classic method application method for cream blush, which suits all face shapes.
