How to apply Broadway Press-on Manicure
First, you will want to size up each nail and pick the appropriate size for each finger nail. Enclosed in the package, there is a nail wipe, use this to remove all oils and such to ensure that the nails adhere properly. Peel off the backing of the press on nail, align it with he nail and cuticle and then press it firmly to smooth it onto the nail. That’s it, folks!
To remove this press-on manicure, I soaked my fingers in the Quo nail polish remover dip. Once the acetone soaks between the nail and the nail-cover, the adhesive and press-on nail soften and dissolve. I experienced absolutely no nail damage.
My thoughts on the Broadway Press-on Manicure
This is the first time I have ever used press on nails and I was very surprised at how easy they applied and adhered to my nails without damaging them at all! I’m not one for square or squaval tips, but it was nice to switch it up.
I couldn’t resist taking them off after 4 days. I’m fussy about committing to a manicure for a more than a week. Furthermore, I have the habit of running my fingers through my hair. You will notice that, similar to when you get gel or acrylic nails done, your hair can get stuck along the edges of the nail cover. It’s annoying, but to be expected.
I also wanted to mention that right after applying these, I took a warm shower and washed my hair with these bad boys on for the sake of testing them out. Everything went a-ok. I would recommend applying these on a day when you have already washed your hair to ensure the longevity of your press-on manicure. As long as you only wash your hair using your finger types, avoid soaking them in hot water for long periods of time and avoid running your fingers through your hair – you should be ok.
I would hardly call this a rave review, but I’m definitely going to be giving these another shot because they are a really fun way of switching up my manicure!
