Easy Hairdos for Greasy Hair & Batiste Dry Shampoo

With the holiday season come parties, gatherings and get togethers. More often then not, such events occur after work or during a busy week. Between having your manicure, makeup and outfit appropriate for each holiday occasion comes the additional burden – hair!

In this post, I will be sharing my tips and tricks to keeping your hair on point for the holiday season with minimal fuss. Why not cut back on time by postponing between hair washes? You can prevent your greasy roots from outshining your beautifully curled locks or slick straight hair by using Batiste dry shampoo. If you have 3rd day hair, then consider an updo (or a half updo) to further disguise not-so-fresh hair.

How to use Dry Shampoo

Batiste dry shampoo uses small particles made of natural rice starch powder, allowing for excess oil absorption. This boosts body and revitalises hair, leaving it feeling clean and fresh.

In Canada, there are 4 versions readily available: Batiste Dry Shampoo Original, Tropical, Blush, and XXL Volume. Each version has a different scent and performs the same deed, except XXL Volume, which offers much more body to the hair.

Dry Shampoo is very easy to use: shake the can and spray into the roots from about 30cm away, massage through with fingertips; and finally brush hair and style as usual.

Apart from freshening up 2nd or 3rd day hair, it also helps add texture and matteness to the hair. It gives the hair the perfect texture for bohemian updos and actually helps bobby pins grip onto the hair with more ease.

Available at drug, mass and grocery retailers, SRP $8.99 for 200ml, SRP $4.99 for travel size.

How do you plan on wearing your hair this holiday season?
