I'm back already from my quick trip out to the bay area and I apologize for the absence yesterday as the day was filled with family time that went late into the night (my usual blogging time after I put Dylan to bed). It was an unexpected trip but it turned out to be a wonderful few days of catching up with family that we weren't planning on seeing this year due to my pregnancy and flying restrictions. Dylan is so talkative these days and has such a fun personality that I loved having him share his happiness with everyone while we were out there.
The weather was also a good 20 degrees cooler out there than in Texas so it was actually nice to experience some real fall weather. This specklestripe moto jacket from LOFT was the perfect layering piece as the style is casual yet still slightly structured, giving my outfit a bit more polish while still being so soft and easily wearable. The jacket is naturally cool toned, but instead I wanted to warm it up and paired it with some soft pinks and floral prints. Might as well be my signature style. :)
