Layering for Dummies

Wearing: Coat: French Connection| Hoodie: Champion| Shirt: G-star Raw| Jeans: Big Star| Boots: Timberland| Gloves: Express

You know it’s really winter when your awkward conversations usually sound like “uhh it’s super cold outside, right?”. 1) You should really be a better conversationist, bruh and 2) Get over it. I love how everyone pretends they’ve never endured the cold weather season in their life, granted some are just experiencing it if they’ve moved. (Peace be with you, brothers.) Here’s the thing: dressing for the cold shouldn’t be that hard. My uniform for the office is usually a button up (down?) shirt, dark denim, and my all black Timbs. When it comes to dealing with the elements it’s really just a choice of a knit (hoodies are perfect if you’re keeping it casual) and coat. Your outfit might be super laid back, but a good structured coat will make you look like you’re going places other than the deli or bar. (The two places I frequent obviously.) If you’re so inclined I’m all about the gloves and beanie. While they are optional, red ears and ashy fingers are not the look.
