5 on Friday!

Happy Friday! I'm linking-up for 5 on Friday today!
{One} We had a great 1st Day of PreK 4 on Wednesday! Brody was very excited to be heading back to school. I still need to do a post about his first day, but wanted to share a few pictures from Wednesday!

{Two} Some of the funniest conversations between our kids happen in the car. Yesterday, we passed a bank with an American flag outside on our way home from the pool. This conversation took place after that...

{Three} I mentioned last week that I've been planning and prepping for the start of our women's fall Bible studies. I lead a Tuesday evening group that is geared towards working women. I LOVE teaching this group! Last fall I had 55 women in this group. They are SO fun! This semester I am leading them through Chase by Jennie Allen. I've been going through the study over the last few weeks to get ready to begin leading. It's such a great study on the life of David. It could be done alone or with a group of ladies. Make sure you check it out if you are looking for a new study!

{Four} We are loving that the pool is still open and still has the normal hours they have had all summer! We went on Sunday afternoon, Monday, Tuesday and then again yesterday after we got Brody from school! We are squeezing every ounce of fun out of what summer is left!

{Five} Brody is such a little old man sometimes and I just adore him for it! One evening this week, Josh and I were sitting outside after we all ate supper. Brody came outside carrying and apple and a Sam's Club weekly ad magazine. He sat down in a chair and started looking through the ads. After a few minutes he said, "Whew! It's hot enough out here to barbecue a burger on the sun!" Ha! We have no idea where little PawPaw heard that, but we were cracking-up! It's even funnier to me because Josh and I always say "grill a burger", never barbecue. :)
