The Qigu Salt Mountain (七股鹽山) was once the largest sea salt field in Taiwan; it ceased operation in 2002 and in place, the Salt Mountain was created to veer the once viable salt industry into a tourist attraction. This was the last place I visited during my weekend in Tainan, 1.5 hours away from the city by bus, weaving through the quaint Tainan countryside on the way. I apologize for the overexposed photographs, unfortunately I did not care to consider what all that white in the hot sun was going to do to my film!
