Weekdays and Weekends

!”–my 8 year old cousin. Oh, kiddo. You just summarized the “impossible dream” that every single person belonging in the workforce has been longing for.

This idea transports me back to the time when public officials wanted to legislate a 4-day workday with longer hours in order to have an extra day off. The idea seems great when you think about the additional whole day in a week, but the grueling, longer hours of work in a day would no longer be reasonable. Just think about those who have to commute for hours to and from their offices. It would probably be a stressful four days just for one whole free day.
