Last week I stopped by my local Target store to pick up a couple of my favorite magazines to get my fall fashion inspiration on. I mean, is there anything better than taking a break and losing yourself in a magazine or two? Not to mention…September issues!!! It isn’t quite sweater weather yet here in southern California…but that hasn’t stopped me from rounding up some fabulous outfit inspiration in the meantime. One of my favorite trends that I CAN do right now is the 60’s mod mini skirt/dress trend. I’ve been on a major 70’s boho kick for quite some time so switching it up and giving the 60’s vibe a try has been on my must-try list. I originally envisioned this dress with my tall cognac boots but it was just NOT happening in this heatwave we’ve been having so booties it is! BTW, does this dress look vintage or what? I love the cut, print and rustic colors but most of all it is super light-weight…making it a perfect pre-fall piece for this southern CA girl! Oh, and a steal at under $25!
