Giorgio Armani Acqua For Life Project Returns For A Fourth Year

For the fourth year in a row, Giorgio Armani has launched the Acqua for Life Project to provide safe drinking water in Africa, Latin America and for the first time this year, the South Asian nation of Sri Lanka. The program launched in 2011 and in its first three years raised funds to implement water pumps, wells and rainwater harvesting systems in mover 60 communities and schools.

The beautiful part of the program is how simple it is to participate. I’ve talked about this campaign before, because not only does it support an amazing cause, but because there’s really no excuse not to help. For every specially-marked Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gioia or Acqua di Gio fragrance purchased, Giorgio Armani will donate 100 litres of safe drinking water every year, for 10 years.

Also, For every “Like” on the Acqua for Life Facebook Page, Giorgio Armani will donate $1 on your behalf to the Unicef Tap Project. To put that into tangible terms, that’s 40 days of safe, clean drinking water for children around the world.

…For a click.

The fragrances themselves are two of my favourites. Clean, sophisticated and simple… perfect for anytime of the year (but especially right now for Spring and Summer) for both men and women. Available now at drugstores and department stores.
