More than any other product in the beauty industry, the whole “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” mentality is particularly popular with mascara. When someone finds a formula they love and that works well with their lashes, they tend to stick with it (sometimes, even for decades). I’m totally guilty of this too, but remember—if we never try out new formulas, we would have never found the one we currently love.
