Correct & Conceal with MAC’s New Studio Concealers

Make sure you write ‘MAC’ down on your list of places to shop on Boxing Day, because the new MAC Studio Correct & Conceal range will be available and you won’t want to miss out! Skin isn’t one-shade-fits-all, and MAC knows this more than anyone. When it comes to concealing and perfecting the complexion, typically one shade of concealer or foundation just won’t do. I’ve used 2-3 shades of concealer every day for years in order to achieve the most natural, flattering effect possible.

The new range includes six pre-made MAC Studio Finish Concealer Duos ($25), each featuring two full-size pans of the much-loved, cult-classic formula. Each duo features one NW shade (pink-based) and an NC shade (yellow-based) to give you the best options for perfecting your canvas. This formula is the most pigmented, and one that I’ve relied on for years to conceal blemishes all day long.

The collection also introduces the new MAC Studio Conceal and Correct Duos ($25), available in four complementary color combinations. Each wand features two liquid concealers (one for concealing and one for colour-correcting). It reminds me of MAC’s Select Moisturecover concealer, but with more pigmentation. Mix the shades to create a custom one, or use to correct dark circles, blemishes, moles, tattoos and more.

Finally, get precise with MAC Studio Chromatographic Pencils ($19), available in three shades and perfect for detail work (blemishes, blood vessels and even for lining the waterline and contouring). I love keeping these pencils in my purse, because they are perfect for touch-ups anytime of the day.
