My Little Cosy Box

I was so, so excited to get my new 'My Little Box' this month because let's face it November is a month when you just want all the cosy things in life, and I saw on Facebook a few weeks ago that this would be the central theme of 'My Little Box' for November. In fact the November box is titled, 'My Little Cosy Box'. To me, autumn and winter are all about cosy nights in surrounded by all of life's little comforts. And in this one little box you get a lovely mix of items that compliment this perfectly.

As soon as you open the beautifully autumnal designed box you get a little card with the quote: "My favourite pastime is to let time go by, to have time, to take my time, to waste time, to live out of time" by Francoise Sagan. I really love these little cards. I have three in my collection now and so I'm thinking how lovely it might be to frame them and hang them in various rooms, just because!

Behind the card was another 'My World' magazine that though small in size, is packed full with lots and lots of little tips, recipes, interviews and some cosy photography looks. This is so perfect to flick through before bed or over breakfast. I find it the perfect partner to the box because it really brings it all to life.

After unravelling the ribbon which contained the magazine and card, you find a very sweet little microwavable cushion. I love these little things so, so much. I have a lot of aches and pains so this is just the most perfect thing for me. Plus, it doesn't have an obvious lavender scent like some varieties do, so a very suits all item. And beside this is a little espresso mug which reads, "how is your day gonna be?" and inside it has 'happy' which is just the cutest. Now I'm not a hot drink kind of girl so I'm just going to use this to store little make up brushes but I still adore it.

To finish the cosy box theme you have a little bag of beauty bits. In the little drawstring bag I found: A Yves Rocher eyeshadow (shade 'Brun Cafe Mat' worth about £13 I think!), My Little Beauty Volume Mascara and an Arcancil Paris black eyeliner. The eyeshadow is ridiculously pigmented, like ridiculously so!! One slight touch and my finger had a huge pigmented brown/black swatch which is very impressive. Obviously paired with the mascara and eyeliner you will achieve a seriously sultry, smokey eye look, but for me this is going to be the perfect eyeliner as nowadays I prefer eyeshadow this way. I'll let you know the results!

Overall, once again I'm thoroughly, thoroughly impressed. Yes, the mug isn't something very 'me' per-se, but it's still going to be very loved in another role! How many of you are also subscribed to My Little Box? If not, would you be interested in signing up? I feel very sad that this is only UK and France at this moment. I really hope it is released to more countries next year. For £11 (inc P&P) it's incredible value and something I treasure each month.
