What I Wore | Easy Does It

WhatIWore: Today was definitely one of those days that I didn’t feel like getting dressed or leaving the house. It was cold and rainy and I opted to spend the morning working side by side with my husband from the couch. Then the sun came out, my motivation returned and I decided to get it together! I love this look because it’s something that would work on every body type, including that of a pregnant gal like me. A black jersey dress, white leather jacket and fun necklace totally work. And it seriously doesn’t get any easier than that!

When: April 2, 2014

What:
Shades: Karen Walker ‘Northern Lights’
Necklace: Anthropologie (more options here)
Dress: ASOS maternity (regular version here)
White leather jacket: MICHAEL Michael Kors via Nordstrom Rack (similar)
Pumps: BCBG (similar)

Where: Lunch date with my husband, coffee shop afternoon meeting

I have a feeling I’m going to get a lot of use out of this swing style (read: tent) of a dress over the summer. Normally, I’d belt it at the waist, but instead today I just let it hang loose. It’s so nice not to care about sucking in my stomach anymore! I used to fear being called pregnant when I wasn’t (more on that here) that I rarely wore anything that didn’t define my waist. The tables are turning because this baby bump has brought a huge bump in my self esteem! See more of my maternity style here.
