Artist shout-out: Esther Stewart

You'll probably already know why I'm drawn to this: a love of geometric shapes, blocks and boxes, Color Field painting, disassembling and reassembling. It's all here in Esther Stewart's 2011 project Cartons; a series of installations exploring 'the space between the functional and the purely aesthetic object'.
