How to Dress-up an Old Pillow (without using a sewing machine)

Do you have some old pillows that just aren’t doing it for ya anymore?

Here’s an idea on how to dress up an old pillow for Spring/Summer, without needing a sewing machine!

I started with an old pillow I had around.

It was pretty boring to begin with, and now that it’s Spring, I’m ready for some change. It was either throw this pillow in the donation pile, or give it a Spring makeover!

I used the Heat Transfer material cut by my Silhouette machine to make the cute bike.

This was really easy, and you iron it on! So all of you who are like me, and aren’t really fond of sewing, this will be perfect for you!

You can do so much with Heat Transfer,…add it to shirts, pillows, bags, towels. I found using it to be easy and there were so many good ideas on line! The Silhouette machine can cut about any design, or words in the Heat Transfer material.

To finish the pillow, I simply hand sewed the pom pom ribbon around the outside.

The entire pillow only took around an hour.
