I’m Derrick Collins. I have been playing football since my daddy put my brother and me into Pee-Wee. I currently play for the Seattle Sharks. When I’m not playing football, I spend time with my Holly.

(Derrick Collins) Driven, passionate, fun-loving, happy.
(Derrick Collins) I get out of bed as late as possible before I have to be at practice. The other six months a year I get up as late as possible. Holly is awake (and happy about it) when the sun is up.
The rest of my day goes like this. I do some lifting, take care of whatever it is that needs to be done, and then I go home and spend some time with the women in my life – my wife, my mama and my grandma. My little bro is home from Afghanistan for good, so we play video games or do some work around Mama and Grandma’s place when he has some free time.
(Manga Maniac Cafe) What three words come to mind when you think of Holly?
(Derrick Collins) She’s caring, compassionate, and loving. She thinks about other people before she thinks of herself.
(Manga Maniac Cafe) What’s her most appealing quality?
(Derrick Collins) She knows everything about me and loves me anyway. And that makes me the luckiest guy in the world.
(Manga Maniac Cafe) What just drives you nuts about her?
(Derrick Collins) Did I mention she’s up when the sun is? I can’t be too mad, though. My beautiful wife is teaching me to love mornings.
(Manga Maniac Cafe) If you could change one thing you’ve done in your life, what would it be?
(Derrick Collins) I would have met Holly sooner.

(Derrick Collins) My phone.
