Peppermint Kisses & Reindeer Poop
...and not because I made them, but because of the adorable and hilarious labels that I snagged from A Fanciful Twist! 'Reindeer Poop' and 'Peppermint Kisses' were my favorites but they come in a set of 8, along with 'Snowmen's Hearts,' 'Angel Farts,' and 'Elf Ears,' all so adorable. Vanessa wrote a blog post with some ideas on how to decorate your jars too.
I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to use one of these gnomes...
The bottle brush trees were white and I dyed them with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist and glittered them up with snow. Then I used vintage doilies, ribbon, tinsel, reindeer moss, buttons, a vintage shroom and stickles for the ornaments on the tree. Oh, and I jazzed up the labels with a pinch of glitter too.
I am currently obsessed with Peppermint Hershey Kisses so that is what I filled my jar with, and chocolate covered peanuts and raisins for the 'poop,' haha. My hubs got me 6 bags of the kisses today, just in case they are seasonal (does anyone know?). Now, that's true love! :)
Please let me know if you try this because I'd love to see yours. It's so fun and there are so many ways to decorate and fill your jars. And it doesn't just have to be for Christmas. I think mine will stay out year round!
Welp, Happy New Year, Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Winter Solstice, Kwanzaa and Boxing Day too! I just wanted to get it all in there since blogging seems to be a rare occassion for me lately with our new babes arrival (she's 4 weeks old now and most definitely 1 of the 4 most beautiful things I've ever crafted, tee hee ;) ;)
