A letter from Nicolas.

This is what every person attending the Louis Vuitton Show on Wednesday found on their seat. Nicolas Ghesquière has always been my favorite designer and to attend his first show for Louis Vuitton was a very moving and special moment for me. I never thought I could see one of his creations on the actual runway. I'm more than thankful and beyond impressed. Nicolas first show was understated, quiet but not lacking in power. His signature was there, so was the brands, the monogram, the trunks, the leathers...it all came together for the first time and this was the first step to create the Louis Vuitton woman, who was so volatile and diverse every season for now 15 years under the reign of Marc Jacobs. It's time for her to show her real identity. A big adventure ahead for mr. Ghesquière, one I'm going to follow with excitement, admiration and pure joy.
