Horror Movie.

My ultimate favorite photographer Steven Meisel is not stranger when it comes to controversy with photo shoots whether about plastic surgery or the gulf of mexico oil spill, so he continued right in that direction with his latest editorial for the april issue of Italian Vogue called "Horror Story". The entire April issue is in fact called "cinematic" so the least you can say is that it totally nails the theme. While I think it's okay to base a photo shoot on a horror movie, many people don't share that opinion. I just don't get how you can put young girls half naked on covers and make entire spreads with even more than half naked girls in obvious poses (Terry Richardson anyone?!) and it rarely causes issues, or we simply get used to it sadly enough - but a spread inspired by horror movies you can actually watch on TV or at the movies causes a stir. On that note I'm gonna go weep in my corner, watch a Rihanna video and take another look at the Kim K and Yeezus US Vogue Cover.
