There are so many women that suffer from cancer all around the world and it’s truly amazing that I am able to share with you information about this program and the great cause behind it because it can be of great help to those who suffer from this illness. It’ so amazing being able to help give women confidence that will help them keep up the fight. I truly believe that women are most confident when they feel beautiful and this program helps women regain confidence through beauty & community!

About Look Good Feel Better

Look Good Feel Better is a public service program dedicated to helping women living with cancer manage the appearance side effects of cancer treatment and improve their self-esteem. The program offers free workshops and other educational resources that teach beauty and styling techniques to women who are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other forms of treatment to help them manage the appearance side effects. If you or someone close to you has been impacted by cancer, you know that the appearance changes women undergo while coping with cancer treatment – like beauty itself – are far more than skin deep. These changes can impact a woman’s self-esteem, sense of confidence and hope at a time when she needs them the most.

Look Good Feel Better was established in 1989, the program is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In the United States alone, more than 900,000 women have participated in the program, which now offers 15,800 group workshops nationwide in 2,400 locations. Look Good Feel Better was developed by the Personal Care Products Council Foundation, and is delivered through collaboration with the American Cancer Society and the Professional Beauty Association. Visit lookgoodfeelbetter.org to learn more. Look Good Feel Better is partnering with women’s fashion retailer C. Wonder and Fashion Project, the leading online clothing donation and resale destination to raise awareness and funds for Look Good Feel Better to help women overcome the appearance related side effects of cancer treatment.
