Books of European fairy tales spun with vintage militaria were used to explore new techniques in couture finishings, leather and thread tracing the body's curves against the colors of jewels discovered in a long lost treasure, slightly deeper and slightly richer; a certain magic. We had alpaca yarn woven to look like an alien fur and reimagined the textures of reptiles, hand weaving them into jacquards that glimmer with depth and surface tension.”
