Review + Swatches: Neve Cosmetics Pastello Natural Eyeliner - Taupe (Pioggia)

Neve Cosmetics may not be a brand you've heard of - but you need to! I'll admit I haven't tried a huge array of their products, but I'm slowly trying more and I must say I do rate the brand! My love started of with the Elegantissimi Palette - which if you haven't seen, you need to! It's a stunning palette - I prefer it to my Naked ones and it's cheaper. I'm getting side-tracked though, so if you want to read about the eyeshadow you can find my link here - link.
As always I've included a summary at the end :)

The Basics One of the reasons why I love Neve Cosmetics is that they are made from natural ingredients and not tested on animals. Lots of their products are also vegan - there are a few that aren't! But this eyeliner is vegan. It comes as a standard eyeliner pencil with a wooden barrel and a plastic cap, matching the colour inside. As you may have noticed from the posts title, this is an Italian brand, but it's easily obtainable in the UK from the CutECOsmetics Website.

The Formula I wanted to like this eyeliner, I really did, because their pressed eyeshadows are better than amazing! But I just can't say that I really like this and genuinely mean it. It applies reasonably nicely, perhaps a little of the drier side, but on the whole pretty reasonable. The issue I have with the liner though is the longevity. I do find that at the 8 hour point this has smudged quite a lot under my eyes and from there on in gets worse.

Colour & Pigmentation After not being particularly wowed by the formula, I do have to say that when it comes to colour and pigmentation I have been more impressed. The pigmentation is fine, nothing mind blowing, but fine. The colour however is quite unusual for an eyeliner, but something I'd love to see more of! It's a taupe shade with no shimmer or metallic element to it. It's slightly on the deeper side and quite ashy in tone. I think this could even work as a brow pencil if you're a brunette that finds normal brow colours to be too warm for you! All in all a very nice eyeliner colour to have in my collection!

Worn on my lower lashline.

The Good - Vegan, unusual (but good!) colour, pigmented, natural ingredients.
The Not so Good - Smudges quite a bit on my eyes.
Would I Repurchase? I wouldn't sorry!
Price & Availability - Currently £3.99, CutECOsmetics.
I can't lie, I was a little disappointed in this eyeliner, it just didn't last as long as I would have liked. However I like pretty much everything else about this eyeliner, it's bitter sweet! What products do you have a love/hate relationship with?
