Review + Swatches: Autograph Smooth Matte Mousse Foundation - Ivory

If you have pale skin, you're going to want to check this out! Being a Beauty Blogger I find that my friends often ask my advice on products or just want some general recommendations. Of course I don't mind giving some opinions, but I love it when my friends tell me about products that they love too. Especially when they're not ones talked about much in the blogging world! Todays review is of a foundation that one of my bestest friends (since we were 4!) shared with me a few weeks ago whilst shopping in Cardiff. I have to say, she was right, it's really rather good! The Basics
This gem of a foundation comes in a cute little glass jar, the packaging infront of me says it has 25ml of product, whereas the website says it has 20ml. Either way it's slightly less than the standard 30ml a foundation usually has - I think I can let that go though! It claims to be mattifying, light and to reduce the appearance of pores. It also contains SPF15 and is made right here in Britain! In total there are 6 shades available (I have the lightest - Ivory), each priced at £9.50 and available from Marks & Spencers.

What did I Think? If you have pale skin, then you're going to love this. The shade is paler than most of the lightest foundation shades I've tried, it also doesn't have an obvious yellow tone to it - perfect for true ivory skin. I've also been really impressed with the formula, it really reminds me of the Max Factor Whipped Creme Foundation. It also has the same soft whipped, creamy feel to it. It applies really well with an almost silicone feel to it - helps to blend and also makes the skin texture more even. At first it has a matte (but not flat!) finish to it, but it turns more dewy towards the end of the day. So to me I'd class this as a long wearing foundation, although it does break down a little around the nose! As for coverage I'd say it gives a medium to full coverage without being heavy of cakey.

The Good - Very pale shade, applies and wears well, medium to full coverage, not cakey, SPF15, even skins texture, BUAV approved (not tested on animals)
The Not so Good - I hope I don't break the glass jar!
