#Nailit4Rhinos on World Rhino Day!

You may have read the title and wondered 'What on Earth is she on about!'. Well today I'm using my blog to do some good. Usually it's pictures of lipstick or telling you what mascaras are worth buying. But today it's all about raising awareness for Rhinos! I actually spent 4 years studying a degree in Conservation Biology, learning all about how we can protect the animals (and plants) of this world from extinction. So when an email dropped in my inbox about getting involved with this campaign I couldn't say no!

What is 'Nail it For Rhinos'?
Nail it for Rhinos is brought to you by Save the Rhino, they're a charity that fund projects to protect and conserve Rhinos. To give you a bit of background on Rhinos, there are actually 5 different species - the Javan Rhino is the rarest of all 5, however all 5 species are in need of protection. The main threats to them are poaching and loss of habitat :( The Nail it for Rhinos campaign is aiming to raise awareness and money to help the cause. To get involved just upload a picture of your manicure to your Twitter/Instagram/Facebook etc with the Hastag #Nailit4Rhinos. The Nails
I failed a bit on the nail front. In my head I was adamant that I had a nice grey nail polish, turns out I really don't! Instead I went for a purple toned grey and a silver. The overall look in the end is more reminiscent of unicorns - but they still have horns, so it's okay right?! The shades I used were the Primark Ombre Nail Polish (Grey) & ELF's Nail Polish in Liquid Metal. On that note, if anyone has a recommendation for a grey nail polish I'm all ears!
