Alternatives to the Urban Decay Electric Palette!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't lusting after the Urban Decay Electric Palette, it's beautiful! But I've managed to talk myself out of buying it - it must be a first! I rummaged through my collection and pulled out all my bright eyeshadow palettes that I already had - after that I decided I didn't need another! I also decided that they are all beautiful and deserved being shared, so tonight it's all about my favourite bright eyeshadow palettes!

Sleek Ultra Mattes V1 Palette
(£7.99, Superdrug)
It wouldn't be me if I didn't include at least one Sleek Palette! Traditionally I've been more of a lover of the V2 Matte Palette, as it features some absolutely gorgeous smokey shades. But the V1 is also stunning. It includes 12 super bright matte shades, from green, to blue, orange and pink. There's also a white which works great for highlighting the browbone and helps pull the palette together - although a black would be nice too!

Sleek Acid Palette
(£7.99, Sleeks Website)
Another Sleek Palette - both are permanent features don't worry, I wouldn't be that mean to you! This one has some even brighter shades, it's time for the neon! I'd definitely recommend using some kind of cream white base to really give a kick to the colour. The shimmery blues are also rather gorgeous - I used to wear them ALL the time!

MakeUp Revolution Salvation Palette - Colour Chaos*
(£6*, MakeUp Revolutions Website)
My newest addition and quickly becoming the top runner! The MakeUp Revolution Salvation Palettes contain 12 shimmer and 6 matte shades, this one is super bright, but there are subtler ones available! As you may have noticed over the past couple of weeks I've had a lot of fun playing with this, shared a few looks and even a video! This is a keeper - plus the bright pink on the top row is insanely pigmented I haven't seen anything quite like it!

BeautyUK Posh Palette - Festival
(£5.99, Superdrug)
You may not have tried much from BeautyUK - I used to walk straight past them until I discovered how amazing their lipsticks were! The eyeshadows follow suit, I wouldn't say they're the best on the highstreet, but they're not disappointing! This palette includes a black and white shade which are perfect for pulling looks together. The colour selection in this is better than a lot of the other palettes that have similar shades in them.

MakeUp Revolution Redemption Palette - Matte Brights
(£4, MakeUp Revolutions Website)
I seem to have a thing for matte bright shades, this is the second fully matte palette (and the next palette is another!). The pigmentation in this one is not amazing, but still good! But for just £4 it's the perfect thing if you just want to play around and get used to some bolder colours - you may want to move on though...

Blush Professional 120 Colour Eyeshadow Palette - Matte
(£12.99, Blush Professionals Website) And the mother load! There are shades that aren't included in some of the other palettes such as some reds and generally a lot more choice of each shade! Of course with 120 bright shades, there are some that are similar and some that are a little sheer. But on the whole the quality is actually pretty good - you can create any bright look you want with this! There is also a shimmery version available and a mixed version too (I really should have got the mixed one!).
