Fun Beatles Themed Baby Shower

When Carmen and Pete got married in 2011, they had an amazing, creative wedding with a fun Beatles theme. With a little one on the way, they decided to continue the same theme at this cute Yellow Submarine baby shower. Carmen’s sister, Vanessa Garcia, and her sister’s best friend, Denise Arellano, went to work and tackled all the planning, decor, and event design. Carmen shared: “The music of the Beatles was one of the elements which brought us together. We are firm believers that in this world all you need is love. As such, we wanted our little ShuGar Baby to be showered with love and what better way to do so than to introduce him to the magic of the Beatles.”

The event held so many sweet details. Guests serenaded Carmen and Pete with an alternative version of the Beatles song “The Two of Us” with saying “our baby is coming home” soon. The desserts could not have been cuter, with Twinkies submarines and cupcakes topped with mini Beatles illustrations. For favors, guests received a CD made by Carmen and Pete which included songs they sing to their baby, along with hints to his name.
