NEW HOME

Uudessa kodissa on nyt asuttu reilu viikko. Viikko on hurahtanut ilman televisiota ja blogia aika lailla maalatessa, siivotessa ja purkaessa elämää kaikista laatikoista ja pusseista. Sitä tavaraahan meillä löytyy, niin kuin varmasti muillakin nelihenkisillä perheillä, mutta varsinkin muutossa tavaran määrä konkretisoituu aika realistisesti. Koko talo on yhä aika siki sokin ja tuo portaikko taitaakin olla tällä hetkellä talon siistein osa. Tytöt ovat aivan ihastuksissa portaisiin ja pysähtyvät välillä hetkeksi ihastelemaan lintuja ja syksyn värejä ikkunasta.
Keräsimme esikoisen kanssa pihalta kauneimman sävyisiä syksyn lehtiä. Omassa pihassa riittääkin aika paljon puuhaa varsinkin näin syksyllä, mutta emme valita ollenkaan. Tästähän sitä on unelmoitu.

Blogia koskienkin on myös hieman uutisia, sillä tästä päivästä lähtien Pinjacolada yhtenä Suomen Blogimedian blogina on aloittanut yhteistyön IMAGE-lehden kanssa. Eli Suomen Blogimedian blogeja voi nyt myös lukea uudistuneen Image.fi sivuston kautta! Käytännössä blogini säilyy yhä omassa osoitteessaan ja itsenäisenä aivan niin kuin ennenkin.

Now it's been a week in the new home, our house. There hasn't been any time for TV or blog or nothing else than painting, cleaning and unpacking our life from the moving boxes and bags. It's amazing how much stuff we have, do we really need all this? While moving you can get quite a reality check on the amount of your things, clothes and furniture. I sold some things in the flea market before our move, but now I realize I could have got rid of even more. The whole house is still quite a mess as things are trying to find their places. I think the staircase is the only empty spot at the moment. The little girls are in love with the stairs and once in a while they stop to admire the autumn colors and birds from the window.
We collected some of the most beautiful colored leaves from our garden. There's quite a bit work to have a garden of your own for sure, especially now in the Autum, but we are not complaining. This is our dream.
