Brighton: Swans & Sealife

I love Brighton. Tom and I had a little break down by the seaside, squeezing in a gig, trip to the Sealife Centre and quite a bit of gin. Not a bad start to the week! We went to see Swans at the Concorde 2 on Monday evening. Tom is a massive fan of the band, and I really enjoyed the set. And we came away with a signed print for the house! Waking up Tuesday I definitely knew I'd had a drink so it was off to Giraffe for a little hangover help, followed by lots of wandering around the lanes doing a bit of shopping. Then it was Sealife time, a chance for two geeks to look at all the fish, I could spend hours staring at the sharks - big dream of mine is to swim with them. Beautiful creatures.

So a little tired we made our way home. If you are planning a trip away and want to do all the touristy things, it's worth remembering to get the 2 for 1 deals. Especially if you are travelling by train. Saves a bit of money (that can be spent on gin)
