We went to see the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower Of London, we visited when it was just starting in August and it was a quiet time, chance to stand and remember those fallen in World War 1. http://www.giventodistractingothers.co.uk/2014/08/blood-swept-lands-and-seas-of-red.html
I wanted to see it finished and found the crowds immense this time, so photos were trickier this time and time to contemplate the lives gone was also more difficult. If you do go I suggest going around to the Tower Bridge side to be able to see the poppies. This also gives you a chance to see Traitors Gate and we spotted a Yeoman Warder talking to the crowds.
