Behind My Scenes: Essence Street Style Block Party (With @RaeHolliday)

This fashion week season I’ve decided to add on-air talent to my resume. It’s something that I’ve wanted to do for a while now but looking and listening to yourself and feeling great about what you see and hear can be a challenge.

I’m teaming up with blogger extraordinaire, Rae Holliday (StuffFlyPeopleLike) for a NYFW street style video. We cute!

With the Essence Street Style Block Party as our backdrop we headed down to Dumbo Brooklyn to find the best of the best in street style.

To celebrate real women with great style, we asked girls what they were wearing and what inspired them.

Hunty! The girls showed awf that day. There were so many fashionable chicks just waiting to be on camera. I think we picked a great backdrop, Rae!

Clearly we had a good gosh darn time. My feet were hurting and I managed to starve myself (by accident), but it was still an amazing time.
