Style Diary: Eloquii Remixes Classic Lumberjack Fabric & I am In Love

So I am trying this new thing that requires me to get all cute and glammed up and then go outside in the cold to take pictures. Even though it was 50 degrees in New York on Sunday, the hawk was out. So what was supposed to be an #OOTD post has now turned into a post about my favorite winter coat. #KanyeShrug

(Bare with me as I figure out if taking pictures outside in the cold this winter is really worth it OR if I should wait until Spring time to be a style blogger, HA!)

I spotted this coat last month on Eloquii and their website was playing mind games with me. It was in my cart and then magically disappeared into the heavens of great fashion finds. So what does one do when something is sold out. Send an email to the owner. I met them back at FFFW and she said, “If you ever need something, just email me!” This seemed like the perfect time to take her up on her offer.

After a little digging, she was able to find my new favorite coat at Nordstorm (yes you can get Eloquii there now) and promptly FedEx’d it over.

Because the zipper is slanted, it looks a lot better unzipped, but dear God who on Earth has time to be all cold up in the chest?!

Lucky for you, said coat is on sale $100 off. Le sigh for me. Clearly I am a horrible shopper! I should have waited knowing that Black Friday and Thanksgiving sales were coming. But I absolutely hate finding a great item and then it’s sold out in my size.

For my birthday you guys know I celebrated with a Popstar Look-A-Like Karaoke Party. It was the most “turn up” I’ve been a part of in a long time. And I actually got gifts. Mostly money, which is always a delight to receive, but my boothang Kela (from KelasKloset.com) took the time and actually picked out this amazing clutch. #SheCute #IKnow #IveGotTheBestFriends
