Lotus Blossom - SAB Freebie
Good Morning! Thank you to those of you who joined my Virtual Launch Night of the new catalogue on Facebook last night and for those of you who have placed Online Orders over the last couple of days. I love seeing which freebies people have chosen and at the moment the Lotus Blossom stamp set featured on this set of makes is the most popular choice!
This is actually a 3 step stamping technique but don’t let that put you off. Its really easy to do as the set comes in photopolymer and its very easy to see where to stamp. I have added a video at the end of this post but please note, the darker ink is called Calypso Coral and the lighter one is Crisp Cantaloupe. The presenter gets them wrong on the video!
These cards were made with the Crumb Cake Note Cards and Envelopes and the Typeset DSP which is actually on the Weekly Deals this week and its only £8.63 for 24 sheets of 12x12. Please note, this is a thinner type of paper, like old fashioned book pages. I love this paper as its neutral and looks good with lots of colours. From top left down to bottom right the combinations of ink pads I have used are Pool Party/Bermuda Bay, Wisteria Wonder/Elegant Eggplant, So Saffron/Hello Honey, Blushing Bride/Rose Red. The stems are stamped in Old Olive.
