Whenever I think of Boglioli, I think of their fabric treatments. They do some of the best washes and overdyes while making great fitting garments. The booth at Pitti Uomo was a typical Boglioli. Instead of using traditional clothing racks, they opted to present the collection by hang their wares on walls. Besides the signature blue pieces, I noticed that flecking was featured throughout the collection. Flecking was evident on nearly every “color story” and was mostly used on the herringbone and corduroy pieces. I am not the biggest velvet fan, but I really liked the washed velvet jackets. They do not have the sheen of a traditional velvet jacket and I did a double take before realizing it was velvet. I am glad that Bogiloli sticks to what they do best and would wear every piece of this collection.
