Sartorio Fall/Winter 2013

Sartorio is the younger and more experimental line of Kiton and they tend to use bolder fabrics and play around more with garment design. Sartorio was first part of Attolini but was sold off to Kiton in 2002 and the production moved to the Kiton factory in Naples. This season, their standout pieces were made out of alpaca and featured plaid patterns on them. Some of my favorite pieces included the charcoal trench coat with the gray herringbone lapels, double breasted herringbone alpaca coat with the burnt orange overlay and the red plaid peak lapel jacket. I like how Sartorio is doing something different than producing super traditional garments. Although this line does not have as much handwork as Kiton, the quality is still impeccable.
