Video: Coloring Vellum + GIVEAWAYS!

Hello! Today’s video shows a fun new way to use an old product… adding blended color to vellum. This card is also part of a guest post over on the Winnie & Walter blog. (More on that below… including three fun giveaways!)

I recently have been falling back in love with vellum. There are so many great techniques you can use it for! Here, I show how you can easily add color with blending to an image heat embossed on vellum. I used Tombow Markers (the Primary and Secondary sets) because I love the quality and vibrant colors. (However, you can try this with any markers you may have.) Just color on the back of the embossed vellum and quickly smear the color with your finger to blend. Easy! (And that, my friends, is the least expensive tool I have ever enabled you to use… your fingertip! Ha.)

I used the new Winnie & Walter rose stamps on this card, along with Winnie & Walter sentiments. Oh, and that fabulous embossed background? I used the Tim Holtz Drapery embossing folder. Love!
