Australia’s First Moving Catwalk

I, along with fellow shoppers were very lucky to be part of Australian fashion history yesterday, as we witnessed Australia’s first ever moving catwalk at Broadway Shopping Centre.

Escalators were transformed into catwalks as twenty models hit the moving runway wearing looks styled by Sydney stylist, Catharine Sarjeant. Models wore the latest and upcoming winter trends with looks including pieces from over 20 retailers including French Connection and Marcs – just to name a couple.

We’ve had unusually warm weather here in Sydney since I returned a two weeks ago and while this might sound crazy, I’m personally really disappointed as I was really looking forward to coming back to winter weather! I’ve always loved winter weather, purely for the fact that you can layer up and wear more clothes. While I do love summer and hanging out by the ocean, but there’s still something comforting about rugging yourself up in layers!
