Just in time for Valentine’s Day, a day of love and kisses, I came across

Plant a Kiss from Amy Krouse Rosental. Planting a kiss isn’t something you would think possible, would you? Well, it is for this Little Miss, who is full of hope and persistence and will ultimately be rewarded for her patience.

With few words and minimal but beautiful illustration, the story evokes an undeniable desire to share joy and kisses of course, with others.

Once shared, her friends are fearful of running out of such wonderful goodness and rightfully so. Who wouldn’t want a bowl full of kisses? But, with pure and honest selflessness comes reward. It has a sweet ending as all of Amy’s book do and this one adds just a bit of sparkle too!

With the purchase of this book, I think it’s safe to say I am now an official fan of her work.
